Hi Truck Tinker,
This morning i checked the muffler, it was installed the correct way. I tryed to check the timing with the timing gun, but it wouldn't work. lol I ended up turning the engine by hand, and it was timed correctly. I then ran the engine then shot some carb cleaner down the carb for a few minutes. It ran smoother, but still missed. I then started to pull the sparkplugs to see if they might be fouled out. #1 plug was wet, and crammed full of yuck smelling like carb cleaner. #2-6 were dry + flat black. I then changed #1 for #6 sparkplug to see if the engine would run different, it ran a little more smoother for just a moment, then started to run a little rougher. I have to admit that it was running alot better today than yesterday, but it stil makes the blop, blop, blop, blop, blop sound at idle with a sound of a lifter everytime I heard a blop sound.
Tomorrow morning i'll check all the things that you listed. smile
Many thanks,
David
