Well almost as I left the house at 1:30pm, the truck started to *pop* out the carb with a little buck a few blocks from the house. Instead of turning around right then I figured to drive her a little more towards work, and if it didn't get any better, i'd turn around. Well within 3 miles from the house she was really running like cr@p.
At the light at idle she would lope so bad not all of the cylinders were firing, and acted like it didn't want to run for very much longer. Also the steering whel, rea view mirror, basically the whole truck was vibrating real bad. On the way back to the house only on accelloration it would buck + cut out(engine miss), if clutch was pushed in it was almost normal, and if the truck was running at say 25mph it was fine, just when giving it the gas. :confused: I got the truck home (barely) under it's own power, then I called work to tell them i'd be running late. I go back outside to pull the truck inside the garage, when I got the truck about half way in the garage there was this nerve krindge(sp) high pitched squeel coming from the truck, but from where? :confused:
I'm thinking the engine is now toast. :mad:
What does a engine make when it spins a bearing, and how would that engine run? Also the garage smelled like it was running rich, but the carb is set leaned. :confused:
Tomorrow i'm checking the oil, see if all lifters move, compression, timing, also to see which way the new cherry bomb (glasspack is in which direction)that installed last sunday. Where's the arrow located at on these? Mine didn't have one.
