I'm working on a 63' for my Sis, replacing the wiring with some kits we bought from Classic Parts. The quality of the parts are not my issue. Where I'm hooking one part of the new harness to some of the old, the older wiring will not lock together because of the age. Otherwise, the rest of that part of the harness is fine. I called classic, and they in turn told me to call American Auto Wire. I called the tech number for them, and the guy that answered the phone understood what part I was looking for. He even told me he had the tool that made that part. But unless I wanted to buy a complete new harnes(which I don't want or need)hr wasn't going to see that specific part as a standalone part. Does anyone know of a supplier that carries just the plug so I can go about repairing the existing harness I have rather than replacing one that doesn't need replaced. Worse case scenario, I'll cut the ends off of both and solder them back together through the bulkhead. Just seems that someone feels they aren't making enough money without causing more rectal irritation for someone just trying to keep his old truck running. Thanks.
