Yeah... don't scrap it.
I inherited my '61, too. And I absolutely love the truck. I have ever since I first saw the truck, though. It can be harder to find parts for - as I had trouble finding a local rearend and windshield (although I eventually did find both), but once you have it running you have such a unique truck. Especially if it has the original hood. I have only seen one other running 1961 in Columbus. Of course, that one was no where near as cool as mine, ha, ha!
