Whatever you do, don't send it to the scrap yard! A '61 panel truck is VERY unusual and collectable.
If you have the time to pull it from the garage, put some air in the tires, and take some good pictures, I think you'll be quite surprised what you can get on eBay.
Since parts will only be available for pick-ups, the key will be how much of the uniquely panel parts are intact. If the rear doors, etc, are all rust free, I wouldn't be surprised to see you get upwards of $2k for it.
Actually that's exactly the truck I was looking for when I got started! If I didn't already have a project, I'd be on the phone with you now!
