Here's another option, the Holley 1904 single bbl. Uses the same jet at any later Holley 2 or 4 bbl, so they're easy and cheap to get, unlike the metering rods and whatnot for the Carter carbs. Also very easy to overhaul. Look for them on GMC and International trucks.
