For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 4 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 4 | I have the same problem. Stuck in second, but it appears to NOT be the linkage. We even disconnected everything and the tranny won't budge. What say you experts? Broken or damaged fork? Gremlins? This happened on the way down as my truck (1950 GMC) was being delivered and it had to make half the trip on a flatbed. I have this beautiful new old truck and I can't even drive it. I am a sad sack.
