I think the leak down test is just what I need to do, so on the 216 I know I have to have each cylinder at TDC on the compression stroke. The 235 on the stand is not mounted with the bell housing and the rockers have been removed along with both manifolds. Even with all the valves closed, I'm assuming I need to bring each cylinder to TDC on the compression stroke to do the leak down test??
