heat may help. are they slotted screws? With a old truck you may want to invest in some screw outs. they can make working on rusted screws a bit easier. Soak the screw in pb blaster or whatever you prefer and then try using a screw out. Sometimes your luck, sometimes your not, thats where either a dremel type tool or a drill comes into play.
