Some years we don't get any snow at all, and hardly see temperatures under 30. We've had snow off and on the last several days, and tonight's low is supposed to be 15.

I've checked the antifreeze in all my running trucks, and believe they are good to around zero, but I'm wondering what experience others have had with motors getting cold.

Anyone willing to admit they have lost a motor to coolant freezing? If so, how cold was it and what did you expect the antifreeze to protect against?

I once left a car running all night because I was afraid it wouldn't stand the cold...
