OK, so net weight is empty or "tare" weight of the truck, thanks guys.
Have you asked how you are to get this weight if they won't let you drive the truck, or is that to logical?
Do you know anyone with portable scales?
Any sort of business close by who weighs trucks, garbage dump, sawmill, quarry, and so on?
A crane service who could pick up the truck and weigh it with the computer on the crane?
There has to be a way to get it weighed without spending hundreds of $$.
A house mover with a hydraulic power pack and jacks that he can then calculate load by reading pressure?
A long I-beam, used as a lever with a known weight on the long end, with some calculations you have a crude scale, don't forget the weight of the beam. You could lift one wheel at a time and add the results...
