I Want a 700R4 for my 49 AD. I have been looking aroung the bone yards and in the paper seen several around 200-300 bucks. What do I need to look for to make sure its a good one? Most of them are already out of the car so its hard to test drive one. Question two, is it better to goahead and pay the extra money and get one from BCM or TCI? Iam wanting a pretty stout small block 350 or 383 on it. As always thanks for your help!
