The trick is that it needs to be bolted solidly to the throttle arms. The center arm on the linkage connects to the original upright rod from the stock linkage. you will want to use locking nuts on the bolts attaching it to the carbs. It will also take some tweeking to get the whole thing to open equally, but it can be done. i can take some pix of my Offy setup if you need to see what I'm talking about. I will warn you, mine is custom made as I am using non-GM carbs (they're off an IH), and use different arms than a Rochester/Carter. But the overall operation is the same.
