no actual black - every 55-57 I've seen has had light gray interiors, with a mat finish 'charcoal' top of the dash [dark gray] and a similar gloss dark gray for steering column and floor - like this original, and this GMC .... the 58-59 interiors were different, and the ones I've seen are like this low mileage original 59
