If you're losing a quart of oil every 200 miles you dam sure ain't burnin' it or you would know it.
I'm no mechanic but is it possible that the leak is from a place where sufficient pressure would be squirting the oil far enough away from the vehicle not to leave evidence?
Can you put it up on a lift and run it up to speed and have a look see. It should be very obvious once you find it... that's a lot of oil in a short time.
