Original post, second paragraph Harvester, "I probably should have put Perfect Circle seals in when I had the valve job done but figured with new valves & guides that I could get by with the O’ rings as it came from the factory with." I just had every thing new done to her a couple thousand miles ago.
I'm pretty much convinced that it's just getting past the rings (55k on the original engine) and it being metered in with the mixture. In other words it's just burning it!!
We'll take care of that when the cab comes off the frame. I’m gonna rebuild the short block before it all goes back together. I just taint got the room to do it now, not till I can unload a couple of airplanes and open up the hanger some.
