OK, I just installed the new coil (with internal resistor) and a rebuilt distributor. I found TDC with no problem, and the engine fired right up. But, I couldn't get it to idle at all. I adjusted the idle screw, but still no idle. But I did notice white smoke coming out of the carb when the engine was off. Is this what I think it is? Head Gasket failure?
