From what I have been hearing, the engine block number should match the number on the door post right? Where would this number be on a 305 V6? I have heard it is somewhere near the distributor, or is that just for the I6 engines? I know there is a number near the front of the engine just below the passenger side cylinder head, but I dont think this is the one I am looking for. Can anyone clarify this fer me?
