According to my '65 shop manual for 292 which I'd imagine there's not much change if any for '69, dwell is 31-34 degrees, point gap for new is .019, .016 for used. Timing is 4 BTDC although my 292 never seemed too happy at 4 when it was stock. It seemed to run better in the neighborhood of 6-8 BTDC. Spark plugs are listed as AC C42N. I've been running AC 44's for a while that seem to be good. Gap is .035 with a torque of 20-25 ft. lbs. Hope this helps. -David
