I bought a used roof cut through the windshield posts & around the back window. The eyebrow has a spot welded seam close to the outer edge. I am going to drill out the spot welds & replace just the underside of the eyebrow along with the inner roof header. Its not a small job however you do it. If i paid to have it done around here it would probably cost about $750 including a used roof & labor. No painting. I think I paid about $180 for the roof and I used to be a bodyman so I can do the work myself. 1957 Chevrolet 1/2-ton Stepside LB in the Gallery My Photobucket shots The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." - John Stuart Mill (1806 - 1873) | | |
