I tried some searches for this information, but didn't come up with anything. I have a 1951 6400. I have beautiful fenders, except they are rusted badly for about 6 inches where the fender meets the cab. I realize the fenders of the big bolts and smaller trucks are different, but what about the mounting surface where the fender mates to the cab? What I was hoping I can do is cut out that part of a small truck fender and patch my big fenders. Has anyone out there done this? Are the curves, profile, etc.. the same in that location? I don't have any small fenders laying around to see. Thanks in advance for the help.
