I don't think there is a glue tuff enough to handle the high temps under the hood. The push in fasteners Tiny talks about can be found at Tractor Supply for under a buck a piece. The magnet approach is a good idea also, the advantage being you can put a magnet wherever there isn't a brace without doing any drilling.
