Thanks for the replies everyone!
I rebuilt the Holley with all new gaskets, needles and seats and new brass floats.
I have been havin a bear of a time tuning it ,I do have the floats adjusted correctly now and it runs ok but still rich Im gonna give her a go again after I get on the road, but I purchased a Edelbrock for my Harley a few yrs ago an fell in love with its ease of tuning and overall performance straight from the box so if I am not satisfied with the Holley Im planning on a 600 Edelbrock as gas keeps goin up Im lookin more for streetabilty and daily use with out the hassle of messin with the carb all the time.
Ive been told a Holley tuned properly is a great carb but most require tinkerin to keep em running right?
