| | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 | Grigg I built a custom speaker box in the cab of my toyota that was molded to the back of the cab perfectly. The way to do this is using aluminum foil. Tape small pieces all over and you have a durable removable layer to adhere whatever to. I built the box out of fiberglass and it turned out wonderful. Im sure you could do the same with any type of material. I coated the back with resin and applied the fiberglass directly to it.
Just an idea. No worries of any of the stuff eating through the foil either!
