My 53 motor is the first hydraulic lifter motor. What I don't know is if this is the head that came with it. It has the newer 4 bolt valve cover. Can anybody tell me if head have thier own date code? I am just guessing that the B36 on mine means Feb 3 1956, but that could be entirely wrong.
