I am trying to figure out how to mount this spring, does the tab of the spring go on the fender side of the engine or between the manifold and the engine. I put in on the outside (fender side) which gives it tension to hold the heatriser closed then when I heat it, it loses its tension and falls away from the pin extending from the manifold. Is this correct? anyone got a picture of this spring mounted correctly?
