will John ever grow up.......................He is just jealous cuz his wheels are black. BTW, I like the color. From prior experience with mounting lock rings (mine were the one piece with 2 tapers on them) use a rubber hammer, I have one from Kent Tool just made for this and you will lessen the chance of marring the wheel.
