I've seen 235s converted to a full-flow filter with no apparent ill effect. Requires bushing down the filter head fittings to the small lines used with the bypass filter. Owners claim no loss of oil pressure, but any advantage would appear to be convenience, because the filtered oil still goes right back into the pan to mix with the dirty stuff. A true full flow conversion returns filtered oil to the the main oil galley, upstream of the bearings and rockers.
