i have a 63 gmc 1/2 ton i want to convert to disc brakes. i have a chance to get a 86 1/2 ton chevy pickup that i would like to get the parts off to do it. has anybody here done this swap? i've been told i have to use the 86 balljoints in the 63 control arms to use the newer spindles. i was thinking i could also get the power booster and master off the doner truck too. maybe even the steering column. any help would be greatly appreciated!
