I have a 65 that we put the 86 disk brakes on. We used the whole k member and every thing (a arms, spindles, ball joints) to get ride of the grease able bushings. The 86 k member for the most part bolts right up. We only had to elongate 4 holes to make it fit to the frame. We left ours manual brakes. Hope this helps
