'55 was not a leap year, but there were two different '55 models. I think if I were born in '55 and wanted a birth year truck I'd choose the one that was availble the day I was born.
I don't recall the exact model change date, but it was spring time, like March or April, so if you were born later in the year maybe you want the second series truck instead?
