I don't think a t5 is marginal - it's not like a 216 or 235 will build enough power to even begin to tax the thing.
I wanted a T5 because of the overdrive and the possibility of keeping my parking brake configuration as well as a stock look.
I'd like to be able to not over-rev the thing on the wya in to work eveyr day <like i do currently>
Anyhow, with a .73 5th gear and a stock rear end with my 38.75" diameter rubber - i should hit 73 MPH at 3000 rpm. Which i won't ever have any desire to exceed. (currently at 3,000 RPM i'm maxing out at 54 MPH)
If you guys have any better suggestions for an overdrive manual transmission feel free to bring it on.
