Your original clutch housing has to go,need one from a 48-53 truck.You can buy a housing allready modified for a pedal mount from Jim Carter, or you can make your own like I did or mount the pedals to a bracket on the frame like some others do.You'll need to fab a bracket for the parking brake,bolt it to the tranny. On my 37 1/2 ton I drilled and tapped the tranny case for the brake handle mounting,but this was on a cast iron transmission.
A T-5 in a big truck sounds marginal to me,Clark made syncro 5 spd OD bigger truck trannys that will bolt up , more or less. They are hard to find however.
