I usually on pour out small amounts at a time as it will start to "set" while you are painting it on and then you use more. It wlll also smooth or level out better if what you are brushing on is "fresh".
I like the stuff and agree with you in that I like to brush it on.
I have stored it for some time and it still be good. My freind stored it for almost a year and its was still good. I do suggest keeping it in a cool dry place and then "warming" it up by letting it sit in the house overnight.
As a footnote: I've mentioned before that I read somewhere that it is good to "blow into the can" of paint ect which replaces the oxygen in the can with the carbon monoxide from your breath which helps keep paint and stuff from drying out. I can't swear by it but I have always done it with paint, varnishes, ect ect and then open it up after long periods of time and it still be good.....so maybe it does at least help?! | | |
