Something does not sound right here.I used the TCI frontend in my 55 with a 350 V/8. The rack mounts in front of the crossmember.Maybe I am not reading your post correctly,but the rack interfering with the oil pan just does not sound right.The only problem I had was with the crossmember all the way up front. I removed it comepletley to make room for the rack.
