I have a 350 in both my trucks and upgraded to a high torque starter from Summitt. I also ALWAYS use Optima Red top batteries because you can mount them anywhere, never need to vent them and you can drain them down to nothing with out major problems (if you are an idiot like me and forget to turn your lights off).

I would rather a beefier starter than a battery or a mix of both worlds like I mentioned.
