The engine is definitely the older 235 style engine not the newer style 230/250/292. I have experience with both. From the serial number, what do you think it is - 235 or 261?
I'm thinking that the truck started out as a '62 frame and front clip. A GMC cab was added when the wrecker body and wench were installed.
Going to try to pull the truck out of the weeds this week end to get a better look at it.
