On my '62 GMC, there is the port for the oil pressure light switch to screw into on top of the oil cannister. On the opposite side, there is a plug that you can unscrew. It looks to be the same type of threads that are for the oil pressure switch. Is is possible to have the oil pressure light screwed into one of them, and an oil pressure gauge hooked into the other one? If not, what is this auxilary plug for? Right now, I have the mechanical gauge hooked in, but I would like the light as a backup in case the oil pressure drops too low.
