Steel studs with tall brass nuts, no need for anti-seize. NEVER have had a problem backing them off or getting a 1/4 turn just to be sure. The extra height gives you additional coarse internal threads so you can crank down on them without stripping. I've always used NAPA but I would venture a guess that any parts supplier could provide them.
