philip t 'Bolter P Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 224 central nc	jeff i bought a light yesterday at autozone it said to use a 12v bat and a ground jumper as you stated mine works fine and i have 6v and solid core wires. does the truck run good if not i have an idea. if the plug is not firing the plug itself then there isnt any power used and nothing for the pickup to read but when you pull the boot the spark arcs to the plug thus using power and the pickup reads it.
