OK, what is it you want it to be when finished?
Do you want an auto tranny or std.? At my age I appreciate the comfort and ease of the auto tranny. I can't help you with bellhousing match but seeing as the 63 came with a V8 space should not be an issue. Personally I would stick an 700R4 tranny on it and have a driveshaft built for it.
