Are you still using original cross sills under the bed ? If so, holes in rear cross sill will need to line up with existing. If not, becomes a function of how many planks you plan on using across the bed. Bed strips bolt down thru the gap between the planks, and into the cross sills. Holes in front panel flange are centered on the planks. Holes on bed side flanges need to bolt thru ends of cross sills for support. I can send you pics of my '40, but it isn't entirely stock.
