Thanks for the compliment on my system Cosmo! The idea actually came from 4onthefloor(thanks again). You don't need the "T" if you utilize a bypass thermo housing and a waterpump from a 261 as 4onthefloor suggested. The waterpump that NAPA sells for the 235 is the same as the original 261 pumps. They have the dual fitting holes and will work. The thermo housing from a 261 may take some time to find. An option to that is the fitting plate that Tom Langdon sells that goes between the therm-housing and the head. It is good because the fitting comes out on the drivers side so the tube bending will be cleaner and easier. The heatplate started out as a 4"X5" piece of 5/16" flatbar. I cut it to size with a hacksaw, then shaped it with a grinding wheel. The lines are cheap brake lines from NAPA. The fittings took a while to gather and get right, but then all you need is a cheap tubing bender and a flaring kit and your off to the races. It helps to have a neighbor with a machine shop who can drill and tap the inlet/outlet holes in the plate! The moral of the story is you don't have to be a mechanic to do it.
