I'm using a set of recon rods for my '60 235 buildup. My question is, which way do the rod caps go on? Is the bearing insert lock on the cap supposed to go on the same side as the lock on the rod, or is is supposed to be on the opposite side?
The machinist wasn't sure, so he wanted to look at an old ('54) rod for reference. But I'm not sure if the cap position was the same from '54 to '62.
