I agree with Justhorsenaround. Since you only have to go 5 miles, it doesn't hardly pay to screw around renting a trailer. If you can hire a wrecker, you'd probably be better off.
If you're in a rural area, a couple guys with a tractor and a little common sense could just about tow it home on back roads. (The key words here are "common sense"!)
