I'm thinking about having the radio in my 51, 1/2 ton radio changed to an am/fm conversion. I don't want to change the truck over to 12 volts. Question is, has anyone tried those 6-12 volt power boosters? If so do they work ok for you radio? I can't find a thing when I do a search.
