I am please to say the offset paint code you gave me PPG 27467 is an absolute match to a radio delete plate that still had a good sample of color from the original cab interior. The paint jobber had some old books and compared all old numbers from fellow Bolters & info I had from the Stovebolt tech library.
The name in his computer for this formula was called GRAPHITE BROWN METALLIC. As mentioned in a lot of the previous post it has a grey metallic champagne hue to it with some hints of brown. The fact that the paint guy was an older man who sold these paints back in the late 50's & early 60's really helped. Thanks to all the bolters who took the time & consideration to help.
