Thanks for your ideas. I will keep my eye open for a fifties 235 and also a mid 40's 4 speed. If you have nay other ideas on bringing a 1929 vintage truck back to life, let me know. I live in a rural area and would like to use this truck, not just as a show piece but as a working piece of equipment for use on my farm. I know it would be lots of work but I have an, "in the drive-line" aux overdrive that I may look at installing to up the road speed a little. Thanks again for your comments.
