I used a torpedo heater in my shop for a few years.They do heat the place up very quick,but the odor is pretty bad. A couple of years ago I put in a wood stove which works out very good for me.I can go out in the morning get a fire going then come back to the house for breakfast. Then after breakfast the shop has warmed up pretty good.Just a suggestion.
