I had to take mine down to the frame because it was badly rusted out, and I got another frame in excellant condition from a Bolter here. It's getting the complete going over as it's put back together (stock) - that way I'll have a "brand new" truck to drive without worry for many yers to come. I too drove it fpor many years fixing as I went, but always knew that I would one day take it down to the frame. Lots of ziplock baggies, Sharpies and pictures, as well as a notebook full of notes.
